What's Spinning: Week of Jan. 13 — The Lumineers, Julien Baker & TORRES, and Teddy Swims

This week on “What’s Spinning,” we dive into 2025 with new music from The Lumineers, Julien Baker & TORRES, Teddy Swims, Deep Sea Diver, and newcomers to the airwaves including Brittany Davis and Kashus Culpepper.

Superstars from Denver, The Lumineers are known for their indie-alternative folk sound, return with the announcement of their fifth studio album, “Automatic.” Julien Baker teams up with TORRES for a new tune that features her seamless harmonies with a country vibe. We also discover Kashus Culpepper, an Alabama native who combines rock, soul, country and blues, and learned to play the guitar while still in the Navy. There’s a lot of excitement and a bunch of new music to share and absorb over the coming weeks on WYEP.

Check out all the new songs we're spinning on WYEP:

The Lumineers, "Same Old Song"

Julien Baker & TORRES, "Sugar in the Tank"

Teddy Swims, "Bad Dreams"

Deep Sea Diver, "Shovel"

Brittany Davis, "Dance I Say"

Kasus Culpepper, "After Me"
