FAQ: What an end to federal funding for public radio would mean for WYEP

Tune into Rosemary’s 2023 Halloween Show

What do you think of when you hear someone say Halloween? Costumes, trick or treating, jack-o-lanterns, crunching leaves, hauntings and all the creatures that inhabit the night? Whatever comes to mind I guarantee there’s a song to match it, and it’s my “ghoul” to bring it to you during WYEP’s Halloween extravaganza.

I’ve hosted Halloween on WYEP for 33 years, and I’ll share a secret with you, it’s my favorite show of the year. I hope you’ll join me Tuesday, Oct. 31 for songs well known — “Werewolves of London,” “Season of the Witch,” “Monster Mash” — and, of course, “Thriller.” Plus, tune in for some obscure oddities, and hear the fun anecdotes I’ve gathered from other Halloween lovers.

So make WYEP your soundtrack to Halloween on Tuesday Oct. 31 from 2 to 8 p.m.
