Canadian singer-songwriter Leif Vollebekk spent a couple of years in solitude. He built his own recording studio, spent time gardening, and ample amounts of time with books, records, and dreams. What began to surface was his fifth studio album, “Revelation.”

Warren Zevon was a songwriter who created rockers and ballads that veered between his caustic wit and his empathetic character sketches. Occasionally his songs leaned toward nostalgia. On Jan. 30, just after his 53rd birthday, Zevon visited the studios to promote his album, "Life'll Kill Ya."

Chris Franz and Tina Weymouth were the rhythm section of The Talking Heads and founded the Tom Tom Club. When they stopped by WYEP on Oct. 5, 2001 they were promoting an art show and Tom Tom Club concert to benefit citizens of Haiti.
