Gary Crouth

Rather than having an interest in music, substitute host Gary Crouth would say that music resonates in his heart and resides deep his bones. That’s how he became a WYEP volunteer: After Ken Batista filled in for him as emcee of the SongSpace concert series, he half-kiddingly offered to return the favor for him as host of An American Sampler. Crouth’s first experience hosting live, on-air radio was on-the-job training provided by Batista and Bruce Mountjoy in the fall of 2015.

First Album: The first album I ever bought was Simon & Garfunkel’s Bookends.
