Declan McKenna is an English singer-songwriter who burst onto the music scene in 2015 when he won the prestigious Glastonbury Festival’s Emerging Talent Competition. His unique blend of poignant lyrics and melodies, combined with his refreshingly vibrant attitude have become hallmarks of his trademark sound. He recently stopped by the WYEP studios for a Live & Direct Session on June 1st, 2023 with Rosemary Welsch to chat about his inspiring journey to fame as a teenage musician and his incredible rise to international recognition.
