The Beatles: Behind the Scenes
March 27 & 28 at the Community Broadcast Center
The Beatles: Behind the Scenes" is coming to the Community Broadcast Center! WYEP's resident Beatles expert Mike Sauter will guide you on a journey to a greater understanding of the creative process of this legendary band. Once again, we'll delve into the writing and recording of three Beatles songs, including "All You Need Is Love," "Back in the U.S.S.R.," and "Octopus's Garden."
The doors will open at 6:00 PM, and the presentation will begin at 6:30. The presentation runs about 90 minutes. In addition to the main presentation, after a short intermission there will also be a bonus section titled "The Beatles: HATED." This material will cover who and why different types of people had extreme antipathy for the Fab Four. The bonus material will run about 25 minutes.
All ages are allowed at all sessions, but due to the subject matter, please note that there will necessarily be occasional mature language and references to drug use.
TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR. ($15 per person at the door; cash only)
