If you are looking for airplay at WYEP and are a local band or musician:

  • Submit in CD format to Cindy Howes
  • Make sure you know about WYEP's format
  • We look for professionally produced material that can stand up and compete with other national acts that we play and add to rotation
  • It must be available locally in stores and not a demo recording
  • After submission of material, please allow 2–3 weeks for review
  • We look for local acts/artists that are out playing and supporting their material locally
  • All inquiries about local music can be e-mailed to cindy@wyep.org

Tune in Monday through Thursday at 9:00 PM when Cindy hosts "The Local News" highlighting new local CD releases and up and coming talent from the Pittsburgh and surrounding region.
