Town Hall South Lecture Series

The Town Hall South speaker series is entering its 50th season of providing intellectual growth and cultural stimulation to the South Hills area by presenting nationally and internationally acclaimed personalities that inspire, educate, inform and enlarge one’s world. The five lectures, held in the Upper St. Clair High School Theater on the first Tuesday in the months of October, November, December, February and March from 10:10 – 11:10 AM, are sold as series only tickets with proceeds being distributed to local charities that primarily focus on women and children. In addition to the formal lecture, an optional luncheon at St. Clair Country Club is held immediately following where the speaker is available to answer questions posed by the luncheon audience. Tickets for the 2018-2019 season that feature Jon Meacham, Pulitzer Prize winning Presidential historian, Adam Steltzner, chief engineer for NASA’s Mars Rover “Curiosity”, Francine Segan, food historian and expert on Italian cuisine, Lara Login, 60 Minutes contributor, and David Eagleman, neuroscientist and host of PBS series “The Brain”, can be purchased by visiting their website at
