"Star Gazing" Party

There will be NASA Night Sky Network activities prior to dark and then, Venus, Mars, and Saturn with its moons and spectacular rings will be visible through our telescopes. We will also be able to view many double stars, star clusters, galaxies and nebulae throughout the course of the evening.

People of all ages are invited to look through a variety of portable telescopes set up on the Kunkle Park grounds by members of the non-profit Kiski Astronomers club. The public is also encourage to bring their own observing equipment and get help using it.

Dress warmly, the temperature usually drops quickly after sunset this time of year.
