Public Art/Public Pool Party

The Office of Public Art (OPA), a partnership between the Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council and the City of Pittsburgh’s Department of City Planning, will host a Public Art/Public Pool Party to celebrate the public art in the city pools. The Jack Stack pool in Brighton Heights will be the party location for 2014. Jack Stack is home to an Anthony Vitale sculpture, Aquarius, pictured below, which also is a functioning shower.  Over the course of the evening, OPA will provide attendees information about the sculpture. Attendees will be encouraged to swim as well. A DJ and snacks will be provided.
