Euro Fest at the University of Pittsburgh
The festival will be a celebration of European culture, cuisine, and heritage. Local artisans and vendors will create a dynamic marketplace and performances of regional song and dance will be presented on the main stage. Artistic demonstrations, student competitions, music and children’s activities will take place throughout the day.
This event is free and open to the public. It is an all ages event. EuroFest will take place outside of Wesley W. Posvar Hall located at 230 South Bouquet Street Pittsburgh, PA 15260.
In previous years, the Europe Day Festival hosted 10+ performances on the main stage, 10+ food stalls/trucks, 45-50 artisan and heritage booths, and 5 organizations hosting tables in the Children’s Tent. Festival highlights included participation by the Carnegie Library, The Frick, Heinz History Center, PICT Classic Theatre, Children’s Museum, Mattress Factory Museum, EQT Children’s Theater Festival, and the Mayor’s Office.
