Benji., Tap Shorts, PM Mirror, and Synova all make completely different styles of music and come from different backgrounds, but they all contribute to the ecosystem of Pittsburgh music. You as a Pittsburgh local or visitor have the opportunity to sample each individual’s craft in the form of short 4-6 song sets performed back to back over the course of 2 hours. Think of it as purchasing a “beer flight” of local music - you’ll get a little bit of everything! The show will take place at Spirit Hall in one of Pittsburgh’s most vibrant neighborhoods, Lawrenceville which offers a large variety shops, restaurants, and social outlets for your entertainment before or after the show. The music will start at 7:30 and run till around 9:30. Tickets are $10 and you must be 18+ to purchase one. You are welcome as you are - this show will be a safe space for any individual or group. Bring your family, your friends, your gramma, your date, or just come alone - we don’t care as long as you are interested in discovering a small slice of what this city’s musical landscape has to offer.
The event will be captured with virtual reality cameras as a part of a virtual reality docu-series (also called “LOCAL”) being produced by a team led by Alex Grant and Elliott Conway out of Pittsburgh media company StudioMe.
