An evening with April Ryan

PublicSource is bringing April Ryan, a widely respected journalist and the only black female reporter covering urban issues from the White House to Pittsburgh’s Carnegie Library Lecture Hall on Wednesday, May 24 at 7 p.m. for a talk about race, politics and the Trump administration.

Ms. Ryan has been asking important questions of presidents for 20 years starting with the Clinton era and, recently, she has sparred twice with the Trump administration in highly publicized incidents. She is the author of two books, The Presidency in Black and White (2015), and her December 2016 book, At Mama’s Knee: Mothers and Race in Black and White.
