Media Sponsorships

Public Service Announcement Request:

WYEP Public Service Announcement Requirements

  • Must be submitted by a local non-profit organization
  • Priority is given to music-related events
  • To adhere to WYEP’s environmental standards, all submissions MUST be done online. No faxes, phone calls, or email requests will be considered.
  • On-Air traffic schedules are done 2-3 months in advance. Please allow enough advance time for your submission.
  • All PSAs are 25 seconds long and are read live by WYEP DJs
  • PSAs may not include calls-to-action
  • An organization’s PSA will run no less than 5 days concurrently and no more than 14 days concurrently (schedule is determined by WYEP Marketing Director)
  • PSA copy MUST adhere to specific public radio guidelines
  • Unless part of a year-long media sponsorship agreement, no organization will be granted more than 2 PSA slots in a 1-year period.

Concert Calendar Request:

The WYEP Concert Calendar contains ONLY local and national acts that are:

  • in regular rotation (or in a specialty show) on 91.3fm WYEP or have performed in The WYEP Community Broadcast Center
  • featured in a WYEP podcast
  • performing in a WYEP-signature event
  • part of a WYEP-sponsored event
  • To adhere to WYEP’s environmental standards, all submissions MUST be done online. No faxes, phone calls, or email requests will be considered.
  • Please allow 3-5 business days for your event to be added

Media Sponsorship Request:

WYEP Media Sponsorship Requirements

  • Must be submitted by a local non-profit organization
  • Priority is given to music-related events
  • Media Partnerships are contracted AT LEAST 3 months in advance. Please allow enough advance time for your submission.
  • Other sponsors of events that WYEP will be a media sponsor of will NOT be included in WYEP Promotion.
  • To adhere to WYEP’s environmental standards, all submissions MUST be done online. No faxes, phone calls, or email requests will be considered.

WYEP Media Sponsorship Requirements

  • WYEP’s Arts & Entertainment calendar is self-publishing
  • Any event that is submitted for a PSA or Media Sponsorship request WILL NOT be automatically entered into our Arts & Events Calendar. THIS MUST be done by the presenting organization.
  • Please be CAREFUL, and check all of your information, before you submit your event. Changes CANNOT be made to your information after it is published.
  • To adhere to WYEP’s environmental standards, all submissions MUST be done online. No faxes, phone calls, or email requests will be considered.
